The LC 200 Models is designed and crafted with a spruce top and maple back.  This factory-made instrument is ideal and very popular for the beginning student.  The materials used are much thicker and designed with the beginner in mind -taking in consideration that accidents do happen.  Even with the thicker wood and materials used; this model allows great sound production, ease of playing, and a very clear tonal quality.
