Pirastro Obligato Rosin

D Z Strad offers four different varieties of Pirastro rosin to match your specific playing needs.  Listed from hard to soft, these include: Goldflex, Gold, Obligato/Violino, and Oliv/Evah Pirazzi. 

Goldflex – Gold colors.  A slightly harder rosin mixed with gold dust; for general use.

Gold – Orange color.  Especially well suited for Gold gut strings.

Obligato/Violino – Forest honey colors.  Mellow, rounded sound.  Well suited for synthetic strings with low and medium tension.

Oliv/Evah Pirazzi – Dark olive color.  Relatively soft, low dust forming, big sound, good grip with low noise.  Well suited for gut strings and Evah Pirazzi strings.
